Charity Donation Foundation is a non-profit that works on poverty alleviation schemes. One of its main projects is the Love Bites.
Love Bites is a healthy snack brand that offers elderly, underprivileged women and young university students an opportunity to pursue economic inclusion by producing Love Bites. This social enterprise ensures that those who may have failed to secure jobs in their fields can sell these products for a basic income, thereby contributing to women’s empowerment and gender equality through economically inclusive social enterprises.
The project achieved unprecedented success months after its launch, having established more than 40 individuals on board with 5 different pop-up stores at malls all over Lebanon.
In February of 2020, the Love Bites signed a contract with USAID to expand its healthy selections. In September of 2020, the initiative was assigned a contract with UKAID to fund its latest expansions. In October of 2020, the Love Bites brand legalized more than 40 products in different subsections, such as vegan, lactose-free, gluten-free, sugar-free, keto, and light-friendly.

Impruvon Health is on a mission to simplify medication management for underserved populations and those supporting them. Our platform is made up of a web app for administrators to manage medications from the enterprise perspective; a mobile app with unique roles for caregivers and individuals to aid compliance and automate record keeping; and a hardware device to securely store, protect, and guide administration. NSF regional and national I-Corps aided our customer discovery and helped us hone in on our initial target market – supported living agencies providing care to individuals with intellectual developmental disabilities. We have made some exciting headway recently! Traction points include closing our pre-seed round, kicking off trials with customers, recently winning the Prince William County IGNITE grant, and having our utility patent granted by the USPTO!
